1. Hamburger 2. Salsa 3. Bacon Not all together but each time one or the other. I will often times take some left over mac&cheese and left over chili and mix them together which is pretty good too.

I love mac & cheese all by itself. One of my favourite "comfort" dishes.

Sour Cream, Chives, Bacon... Really anything I would put into a loaded baked potato. Sour Cream, always.
-
Sometimes I put cubed bread on top, drizzle melted butter on them and pop it under the broiler to toast them just a little. Also, sometimes I add a can of tuna but mostly it's just Mac and Cheese.
-
Sometimes Iadd Texas Pete hot sauce and then use the Mac&Cheese as a "dip" with tortilla chips.

Yeah I have added tuna to it. It is is really good.

bacon, ham, salami or a bit of smoked cheese or parmesan

Sausage, of course. I tried making it with a recipe I found on the internet that included egg, good but not really worth the extra effort. I've used turkey (not great). Made a casserole type thing with it. I love to put hot sauce in it. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting, too. The girly found a sale for macaroni and cheese, $0.25 a box. She bought 48 boxes. I've experimented.

No. My cooking taste bad as it is, can't afford to experiment and make things worse.

Hot dogs, but somehow, I don't think that counts.

If its the box kind, you need to add the cheese
-
I add all sorts of things, besides many kinds of cheeses, including blue cheese sometimes. I add artichoke hearts and bits of spicy sausages. I found some sausage that has sundried tomatoes and asiago cheese in it that is wonderful in mac and cheese. Sometimes I ass cubes of good smoked ham or shrimp and lobster. Sometimes I top it with breadcrumbs and sometimes I make little croûtons.

I sometimes add a little hot sauce, but usually plain is good enough for me.

Cut up wieners and garlic salt. Yeah...most of my recipes are from a time where I always had to improvise, due to limiting myself pretty much to Kraft Dinner or oriental noodle meals. >_>
