I think they learn it in both places.

3-22-2017 Kids don't learn bad behavior. When parents have no time for parenting and schools don't bother to teach anything, kids have to invent everything they learn. Since the only influence is from cartoons on tv, or other children, what they invent can be awfully strange. That is why you hear adults saying things like "Rut roh."

Bootsiebaby I don't hear people saying "Rut roh". I've never heard of such an expression. It may be a regional expression, but if it is it is not local to my area. -

My son is not badly behaved. If he ever does learn any bad behaviour it won't be from me.
