  • no, it's a compliment! you should love the attention and he just notices a good thing he's going after!
  • Why did that make you uncomfortable? It was a compliment. What about it bothered you?
  • Don't get offended at all.. He is more then likely indicating that you're attrative.. UNLESS you were dressed like a complete skank. Then they were probably hitting on you because you looked like you were easy, and he said that because he knows that you look skanky?? But all in all - Take it as a compliment.
  • On a fist date, I don't think the guy thinks he has a right to step in. If you were to be dating awhile and this happened I would hope he would stand up for you and your relationship. The fact that is was your first date and there is no relationship, yet, than you should not let it bother you. Good luck;) Oh and he did give you a compliment in all that!
  • What did you expect him to say or do instead?
  • Yeah ..you should ...I wouldn't like it too ! I would want him to feel a bit concerned about it :-) !
  • Are you generally uncomfortable with getting compliments? If you are, and worry about getting them, then you should definitely be worried about this one too. The guy you were on a date with exhibited a sense of humour, a laid-back attitude and complimented you. I don't know what you want out of a date, but the usual answer girls give about a desired date would be something along the lines of "funny, easy-going and a gentleman". Take it easy, he was just telling you that you're attractive, and that guys probably hit on you a lot because of that. I haven't the slightest idea what you should be worried about there. You tell me.
  • I don't think he could of handled it ANY BETTER. Sounds like he was being a gentleman about it. Whats uncomfortable is why in society today people are being hit on WHILE THEY'RE WITH SOMEONE!!!!
  • I would auctually take that as a compliment to you. Obviously he is saying he thinks you are attractive and there are probably alot of guys that find you that way also. Be flattered!
  • No. It's cool that the guy isn't insecure. That's just one less relationship problem you'll have to deal with (unless, of course he was putting up a front.).
  • I would say the exact same thing. I've been there, done that. It's a compliment for sure, but does expose some insecurity. To me, it sounds like the guy is into you, and he'll notice a guy hit on you from a hundred miles away. He'll feel like that until you show him that you only want to be with him, and you blow off and small advance and he sees it.
  • Depending on his confidence level he was either calling you a whore or thinking he was being jokingly forward to test if your confidence level is as low as his. This probably aren't the only two solutions though.
  • No he was probably just trying to compliment you.
  • I think I personally would appreciate it because it kind of shows that he's not going to be an overly jealous person. I know my boyfriend would be kicking some A$$ at that point because that's just the kind of person he is, but I would rather the guy who's laid back like that because it also shows that they trust you enough to believe that there's nothing to worry about.
  • I would have said the same thing. As far as I'm concerned it was a great compliment. To say nothing would have left you woundering how he felt. He seems pretty secure. Some guys would have gotten mad and ruined the date. So far he looks like a pretty good guy. Just don't give him any reasons to doubt your sincerity. It's game playing that does damage.
  • I know you feel uncomfortable but often as a guy i find that when im dating a girl who gets picked up while she is with me that i feel lucky to be with her. Dont worry about his response, worry about your worrying. The guy likes you a lot obviously and even dealt with the situation in a adult manner. I would say, be proud of the fact he didnt act all immature about it and give this guy a real chance. You sound nice, he sounds nice, perhaps its a meant to be situation that other guys can be jealous of.
  • why feel uncomfortable - it just proves to him that youre a man magnet lol
  • You were uncomfortable by a compliment? If you're worried about compliments, then yes you should be worried, but otherwise, I'd just smile and say thank you.
  • It's tough for guys because we want to pummel them to the ground, but we don't want to make that impression on a date, because they will probably be alarmed by how possessive we come off as. The other possibility is that he could be a sissy, and afraid to fight. Either way, I would ask him about it, and if I were to give you a piece of advice, if you're made that uncomfortable by the 2 other guys, you should tell them yourself, OR, better yet, a true test of the character of your date would be to tell him that they are making you uncomfortable. If he's like me, he could've been waiting to have you say the word, but then again, an intuitive man could tell if you were distressed to the point of not wanting those guys there and would've stepped in. Good luck. Talk to him about it and see what he says.
  • LOL, dating beautiful girls and taking them out in public always amounts to the barbarians gathering at the gates. When the gate keeper turns his back, the barbarians invade. As we can see after 50,000 years not much has changed.
  • Well the "I bet you get that all time" Is actually a compliment. Be grateful your date wont make a scene. It shows that he trust you with other men.
  • I wouldnt worry. He probably means your an attractive girl and hes not suprised to see you being hit on.
  • i think its good because it shows that he trusts you but maybe youre feeling that youde prefer if someone made a big fuss of you and kick their assess
  • Jeez, chill out. It was just a compliment. It also means he is not a jealous person, which is a good thing.
  • I'm sure he meant it as a compliment. What response would you have been comforatable with?
  • yeah to me it was a compliment, your hot you get hit on all the time,I would have said the same thing.Put up a picture so I can confirm my opinion.
  • I think he was complimenting your beauty.
  • i wouldnt wory lol! it was probably meant as a compliment but if he dus this again then ask him what he meant by it and if he was bein nasty then leave him and even if you arnt to sad or scared slap him as revenge. thats what i would do but trust yourself and do what you think is best!
