I'd rather watch at home where I don't have to sit next to annoying people and I can pause to go to the bathroom when I want. I also don't need to take out a loan at the bank watch a movie at home. lol
-
A movie at home. The food is better, the seats are better, you can pause anytime you want, and you can talk.
-
At home my bum gets numb on the cinema seats:-)
-
@ a movie theatre, The sound is awsome (better than the sound of a tv) or most sound systems. Some movies are in 3D (great, some of them) Popcorn tastes so much better. Being at home is being at home..not boring but nothing megaly great. Being at the cinema (movie theatre) is a night at the movies. a social gathering. Something out of the norm (watching a dvd @ home)

Home. You can get naked during the film and hit pause if need be. At the theatre, you miss the movie and possibly get arrested.
-
at home you can stop the film, back it up and watch the scene over and over. Try that in a theater
-
Going to the theater is an experience and I always enjoy the film more...plus the popcorn is better. However, staying home is easier, and you can pause the film if you need to use the bathroom and eat whatever you want and get really comfortable...so it depends on my mood.

I like some of the newer theatres, especially the IMAX ... and the "Guzzo" cinemas with the giant curved screen and excellent surround sound systems ... I just dislike the crowds ... so although I prefer to see a movie at least once in a GREAT theatre, if I like the movie enough to want to see it again or repeatedly, I would rather see it again at home.

At home so I can smoke
-
At a movie theatre :-)
-
At home. I have arthritis in my hips and can not sit through an entire movie at the cinema.
-
I prefer movie theatres. Bigger screen, better sound, and if you go less often, each film you see is more of a special occasion, which I like. I go rarely and select the film carefully.
-
Some movies look incredible on a big screen and I make a special trip just to see them that way, they way they were meant to be seen, filmed in that way for BIG viewing. But I do prefer to be home, curled up in bed, with drinks and snacks and a bathroom I can trust:-)
-
Home, it is cheaper and more comfortable being able to curl up on the couch with my hunny!
-
at home
-
I like both.
-
Theater but only cause usually when i watch movies it's with my boyfriend and... well lets just say my focus isn't on the movie. and the dim theater and lone seats make it better ;]
-
At a movie theater in Hollywood. lol Like Mann's Chinese.
-
at home with a foxy lady
-
At home considering we have a real nice home theater system.
-
It totally depends on the movie. 'I am Legend', you HAD to see that at the movies to enjoy it to the fullest!
-
At home, stretch out with shoes off, laugh, scream or cry if you want.
-
At home because you don't have to deal with other annoying people.
-
In the theater, because that's where they were intended to be seen in the first place. And you get to meet other people before the movie and afterwards. I watched these movies in a (revival) theater many years ago: -Casablanca -High Noon -Gone With the Wind -Ben Hur -Thief of Bagdad (1924) Those chariot races in Ben Hur are great in a theater.
-
At home. I hate crowded places.
