After 2 loads. That's about all I do in a week anyway.
-
After every load.
-
When it starts looking like a funky new fabric, then I take that big gangly lint cloth and throw it out.
-
Once a week.
-
Every 2 or 3 loads.. It starts to take longer to dry after that.
-
About three times a week, I do quite a bit of laundry.
-
When I was 10, we had a fire in my home because my mom had not been cleaning the lint filter. So when I was single and lived on my own, I cleaned the filter before each load. Now, my wife does the laundry. (be kind -- I do other chores!). She doesn't clean it very often. It makes me paranoid. Sometimes, I go clean it myself even though I don't do the laundry.
-
Before each use.
-
I usually do at least 3 loads of laundry first and then I go ahead and clean it then. By that time It is thick with lint. I don't like to do it when only a little lint is on the filter.
-
every time i use it.which is usally every other day.
-
Every single time it's used !!
-
After every use, which is about 5 times a week. I also have a kit that cleans out the exhaust hose.
-
Just before each load.
-
Every time I use the dryer because I read that lint build-up is a fire hazard.
-
Every few months you should also wash your lint screen (if removable) in hot soapy water. If you use fabric softener sheets, the residue from the sheets clogs up the tiny mesh holes and effects drying performance and the overall life of your dryer.
-
every load or it will heat up too much and heat will shut off prematurly.
-
After every load
-
Clean it every time that you use it or you could have a fire hazard.
-
After each and every cycle :~)
-
Probably every other load.
-
After each load. Slow night, huh?
-
Before each load. I also clean out the stray lint from the filter slots.
-
I clean the lint filter before or after every load. It is a habit my grandma taught me 30 years ago. Which brings to mind a funny story. I was an over the road truck driver. One weekend I got stuck just a few miles from my cousin's house, I gave him a call. And he invited me to spend the weekend with him. While there I decided to do a load of laundry. When I got ready to transfer wet clothes to dryer, I cleaned the lint filter out of habit. When I went looking for a trashcan, my cousin's wife said, "Oh, I didn't hear the buzzer. I didn't know my own dryer had an alarm for a year after I bought it, then my daughter and son in law moved in with me and had not been taught like me.

After every load. It is a fire hazard not to. Also, the more you leave in the filter, the more gets into the hose going outside. If that gets clogged, you have another problem on your hands.
-
After every use!

After every use.

Every time I use it.

Everytime I do a load.
-
Most often every time it's used. Maybe not if there's only one smaller item in there, but other than that, every time. I usually always check it, and if I see any, I take it off.

-
i repaired appliances in a differant life. i clean the filter every time i go to put clothes in it. i clean the filter before i take the damp clothes out of the washer because wet hands and lint don't mix
-
You should be cleaning it after or before every run. If you arent you are wasting electricity dollars and creating un-necessary wear on it's electrical components by obstructing the air flow used to dry the clothes.
-
You want to keep the dryer as free of lint as possible. Lint will build up inside the machine annd greatly reduce the life of the motor. The drying ability will be reduced. Not to mention a great big fireball of lint and and a nuke breakdown. Clean the filter every load. Or I'll get ya. Who am I? That guy that charges $95 to knock on your door, $75 an hour labor, Plus parts.
-
everytime i use it...
-
About every 2 loads.+5
-
every load or everyother depending on what i am drying!!!
-
My grandma taught me to do it every load. One time I spent a couple days at my cousin's house and did a load of laundry. When I cleaned the lint filter, I realized there was no trash can in the bathroom. When I went looking for a place to put it his wife said, "Oh, I didn't hear the alarm!" That tells me she didn't clean it until it started beeping at her. LOL

ONCE EVERY MONTH.
