  • I leave the house at 5:30 AM, it takes me between 25 and 28 minutes, depending on if I miss the light or not.
  • 7:55 p.m. and it takes about 6 minutes depending on traffic or whether or not Im leaving from my house or my BF's.
  • This week I leave at 7a.m. and get there at 7:05. She lives right up the street from me.
  • I used to live 1 mile away from the place where I used to work. When the weather was good, I would often walk to and fro to work. I'm retired now.
  • after i get the coffee made I have to walk to my office at the end of the hall so 10-12 seconds :)
  • I leave at 7:10am, or 8:45am if it's my turn on the school run. It's 30 minutes on the train or bus, then 7 minutes walk - unless I'm working in one of our other offices, in which case it's a 3 hour journey there. Like most things in my life, there's not one simple answer :) - sorry about that!
  • I leave around 8 and I get there around 8:45. I have to take 3 trains... the Light Rail, PATH train to NYC and the Subway to Rockefeller Plaza.

  • 07.30 on a day shift and 17.30 on a night shift....it takes me no more than 10 minutes but in 2010 when my office moves it will take me 35 mins :(

  • I used to leave at 7:17 and it took me 25 minutes. With the new construction I have to leave at 6:55 and it takes 45 minutes. MDOT sucks.

  • I leave the house at about 5:10pm. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to get to the parking lot, then I wait for a shuttle bus to take me to my building. I arrive at work around 5:40 or so :)
  • I leave around 7am. It takes anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the weather/road conditions, accident or breakdown of the day and if I have to exit the expressway early or not. It's a crap shoot that's for sure. :-)

  • It depends on what I am doing that day . Whenever I leave it takes too long because the traffic here is gridlocked. If I am going into Chambers it can take me an hour or more and it is only 7 miles If I am going to London I can leave at 8.00 a.m. drive to the Station and be in London quicker than I can drive those 7 miles to the centre of Cambridge.
  • I started a new job about a month ago. On a good day it is only 35 minutes. But....since I have started we have had at least two snow storms a week and then it takes me over an hour sometimes and hour and a half. We have another 14 inches on the way for tomorrow. GRRR!!
  • I walk to work a lot. I am roughly 4 blocks from my job. Even walking it only takes me 8 minutes, driving maybe 2 min.
  • Normally I have to be at work at 3 pm or 4 pm, except Saturdays when I go in at 2 pm. It takes about 10 min for me to get to work, I normally budget about 20.
  • It takes me around 1 hr and 40 min to get to work. On my early days I leave at 5:30am and usually arrive around 7:10am. On my late days I leave around 7:45am and get there around 9:30am and on Saturdays (when I work Saturdays) I leave around 4:30am and get there around 6:55am.
  • About 8 PM, takes 50-60 minutes to bike to work, sometimes as little as 40 minutes. If I am without a bike, 2 hours to walk.
