  • I live in the downtown of a big city, so you'd think I wouldn't get many birds, but my neighbourhood is some kind of crazy animal-life refuge or something. On the tree outside my back window I've seen: starlings sparrows falcons grackles robins red-winged blackbirds seagulls crows And we also have a flight of pigeons that lives on the roof of our neighbour's garage. This will be my first summer in this place, so I anticipate an even greater variety soon.
  • Every morning. They build there nests each year in my garden, have the youngies, go somewhere but come back each year. I have mudlarks, tiny finches, the odd brilliant blue or red Robin.
