Is it possible for someone to accidentally "pop" a cyst, specifically in the wrist? Is it bad? What would it feel like?

Cysts are usually full of waxy oily stuff.. I doubt you could just pop something like this.

Is it a ganglion cyst? Right in the middle of the back of your hand above your wrist? Oh, I see this is a really old question well if anybody else comes up that's got one and wants to know the answer mine popped I don't know if I did it or if it happened all by itself but it just dissolved and went away. However later on I did have to have a calcium deposit removed from the back of that same hand. I don't know if it was related.
