  • Yes. I also dumped a pitcher of iced-tea on someone once when I was a waiter. No tip for me! :o(
  • No, but I would laugh my brains out unless it was very hot and then I would be screaming. I would find this very hysterical. When my husband and I were dating, a waiter in an Indian restaurant dumped over a plate of some kind of chutney on the beautiful white tablecloth and he muttered "oh sheeet", I will never forget how funny that was.
  • no. But, when I started waiting tables I accidently tilted a tray of red wine and it fell on a lady wearing white. I died a million deaths. She was so great about it and laughed b/c she did the same thing when she started. She even showed me a better way to hold the tray... especially a tray of wine glasses. I will never forget her or that moment!!
  • A new waitress in training spilled an ice cold glass of water on my husband. They gave us dessert for free. I would have preferred free lunch:-(
  • Yes and you know it. LOL was funny and we all laughed.
  • Yes, and she did not go out with me either. :(
  • yes a few times
  • No, thank goodness!
  • yes ive had food spilled on me not that big of a deal b/c when i was a waitress i dumped a whole tray of tea (like 8 glasses) on some poor guy!! I cried they laughed and still left me a great tip god love them!
  • I've never had anything dumped on me, but I've been the waitress who's dumped something on someone, LOL.. I had just started waitressing, and was bringing some drinks to a table that had 4 little boys with them. 2 of them were running around, and not watching where they were going, one ran straight into me. I had 6 drinks on my tray, 4 had lids, and didn't spill, but the two un-sweetened teas landed right in the lap of the kids dad. I was so embarrassed, but really it wasn't my fault.. I ended up paying for his meal, anyway..
  • No but I have turned a full champagne bucket full of ice upside down on a punter who was giving me a hard time when I was waitressing while at college.
  • I was the waitress and living in Brainerd, Minnesota at the time I dumped a huge fish bowl sized margarita on an Australian guy. I think it was his 21st birthday, but I'm not positive. To make things worse I ran and grabed a bunch of bar towels and proceeded rub his lap with them.. Then it dawned on me what I was doing.. I got a big tip for the whole table that all thought it was funny. The guy called me and asked me out, unfortunately my boyfriend worked at the restaurant and had taken the call. I delined the date, but if I could do it over I would have accepted the invite.
  • A waitress was walked by our table when my girlfriend suddenly stood up, crashing into her. The waitress lost her balance, and the serving bowl of tapioca pudding she was carrying landed right on my head. Didn't seem too funny to me, but my girlfriend couldn't stop laughing. The waitress was terrified at first because she probably thought she was going to be fired or something, so my girlfriend assured her that it wasn't her fault. Of course I was the one wiping pudding off my face, while my girlfriend, whose clumsiness caused the whole thing in the first place, had a good belly laugh at my expense. Life is not fair.
