YES!!! Even when you could still RARELY see them, they were chopped up for PC's sake!
-
Yeah, they're hard to catch on the tube nowadays. They most likely would be on Boomerang which airs classic cartoons. Check link for schedule in your area. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/boomerang/index.html

Weren't they the best! I can usually find them in thrift stores or garage sales on dvd's. I love Tweety Bird!
-
do I ever! Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn - they don't make them like that any more. Todays cartoons are all about teaching a lesson or they are based on a game. Everytime that dog would run his chain out to just where Foghorn was standing I would crack up.

Oh, look what I found: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=15776457&st=looney+toons&lp=13&type=product&cp=1&id=1658045

You know how everyone always says the old cartoons are so violent that they'd never be able to air them nowadays? Well, I loved the old Looney Toons - and I didn't turn into an anger-management problem. I LOVE watching the classics, to this day.
-
I still Miss them all and i still remember most of their names. Porky Pig, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales, Marvin, Wile Coyote, Slvester, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird and Taz. That should be most of them i think.
-
I do, I do, I do miss them!!!!!!!!!
-
No. I have a channel called Teletoon Retro that runs classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny, Road Runner Show and Looney Tunes.
-
I watch Looney Toons. They're great.
-
yeah, same here! i really miss watching them. http://www.dvdavenue.tv/movie/cartoon/looney_tunes.html
-
I do! You just cant beat those old cartoons!
-
I miss them. I wish they were on the air now. Instead of the crud they have on now for kids.
-
You can't put Speedy Gonzalez on TV anymore. That would be racist. And in order to watch Wile E Coyote now, you'd need to have a disclaimer so that no one tries to shoot themselves out of a cannon or put rockets on their roller skates. Liability, ya know?
-
Still watching them. They are in my DVD collection.
-
Absolutely, enough with all of these crappy remakes for pete's sake
