I just put the heat on in the house. Is winter fast approaching? It's only 15 degrees here today in Vancouver.

It is for you, for me it was 90 for the high and it is a hot muggy 78 degrees.

Do you mean 15C (59F)? As I type, it is almost midnight here and it's about 45F (7C). We have a frost advisory going for tonight; a low of 28F (-2C).

it was in the low 70s (F) for several days here...had a beautiful weekend. but we are back up in the low-mid 80s for the rest of this week (last hurrah of summer before it "officially" ends, I guess? weather is screwy around here in STL anyway...)

It'll be 83 degrees tomorrow in Wisconsin. So if Wisconsin isn't cold, winter is not here yet.

15?? I certainly wouldn't consider that cold lol (unless it's Fahrenhait). Imagine living in the prairies where it can be -30 to -50 in the winter. I grew up on the east coast where winter can be 0 degrees to say -15 or so. Although I see you posted your question in Sept, but then the summer is over so 15 degrees isn't too bad for fall weather.
