  • Absolutely. Statistics show that home schooled children excel over their public school peers. It could be argued that they're not being socialized in the same way but every home schooled kid I've met has a maturity of manners and ability to communicate.
  • As long as the children are meeting at least the minimum state requirements, then sure. I could never do, nor would I want to, but I'm not against it for families that find it a good alternative.
  • It should be an option. I chose to HomeSchool my first child. He was a quick learner and was bored in conventional public schooling. I pulled him out of Public in Kindergarten, homeschooled him the remainder of the year and then tried Private and he is thriving and is tests two years ahead of his peers. He is outgoing, curious and happy. We homeschool in the summer. All my kids. It worked for us.
