  • My understanding is that martial arts are about manipulating your opponent into moving in a way that is to your advantage. I suppose part of that training would involve how to handle someone similar in size as well as how to handle people of significantly different sizes.
  • Most martial arts schools will begin with a classical style, but will allow a "master" to tailor fit the classical styles to fit their own physique. ... any of the Shaolin Chuans or Kung Fus (Wing Chun reccommended) ... most of the Karate styles (Goju Ryu reccommended) ... Taekwondo & Hapkido ... Judo & Jujitsu
  • In any fighting system, reach and strength are big advantages, so anything you pick will be fine. That being said, reach and strength aren't everything. If you combine that with speed, good technique and the ability to be agressive, and you're off to a good start. :)
