  • Yes in this state you do. It just means your not obligated to physically raise them but it don't mean your not going to have to financially provide for them. You just don't have any legal say so over what happens in their life once you give up those rights but unless someone adopts them you still have to pay child support. Unless the other parent or guardian states they don't want you to pay but thats rare.
