  • Unless this is based on experience, it may just be an intrusive thought, I e a thought that is unwanted but is hounding you, recognise it for what it is and let it go. We can't always choose what thoughts we have as thoughts tend to happen to us in a sometimes endless stream (which is why some people learn to meditate), but we can choose what ones we hang on to. If it happens I'm sure you will handle it, but we cannot live our lives on the fear of things that may never happen to us. Sometimes these kind of intrusive thoughts can be linked to "pure OCD."
