  • Personally, I believe permanence exists in reality in God's laws. Those laid down before the foundation of the world and that are eternal.

  • According to our best understanding of theoretical cosmology at the moment, it does not exist. Even the basic laws of the universe like gravity or how atomic nuclei are bound together did not exist at one point in time and will cease to exist at some other point in time. That's why cosmology in its current state is so limited: even the basic logic that defines cosmology can only reach so far into the past and only so far into the future before even those melt away leaving a mess of "I don't know."
