  • i had nearly the same problem, nothing would recognise it (like computers and stuff) so i rang the apple customer care number and spoke to this dude for like 2 hours and another guy for another hour and we couldnt fix it so they told me to give it to these people which i did and my ipod ended up was corrupted. so they had to give me a brand new ipod to replace it. Hadnt had any problems with the new one and it has been a while since i got it. so yours could be corrupted. My ipod was a 1g Nano so i would ring apple customer service to start off with.
