Everyone's dreams are different and some of them are just dreams of the contrary. In my opinion, it means that you feel invisible, that you won't be listened to when you try to express your thoughts or opinions. Or perhaps, that you feel un-cared for. Who are you asking for help? colleagues? your loved-ones?

Usually implies that you need to protect yourself, be more aggressive and take a firmer stance on things.

Night time paralysis. Our brains turn off our musculature so we don't hit someone while dreaming. Night time paralysis is fairly common. The screaming suggests you may have been frightened by the paralysis, but of course you couldn't scream either. I suggest you google the phrase for more detailed facts and treatments.

Hmm. Maybe: * You feel like you need help and someone to notice you but it seems as if people are ignoring you * You feel trapped by something that is holding you back * Sometimes, if you sleep all wrapped up in your duvet, you subcnciously feel strangled and trapped and dream that you are being crushed and can't move. It's a sort of example of 'half-dreaming'

It means that your spirit didn't find its way back to your body as yet.

It's called sleep paralysis. Sometimes referred to as Night Terrors. It isn't actually a dream. Generally you are in a semi-conscious state. As Mirage stated, your brain shuts down your motor functions. It is much like when your computer goes into sleep mode and always take a bit before it "comes back to life". There has been much research about this "phenomena", and many doctors can't seem agree on the specific cause. Most people tend to suffer from sleep paralysis at some point in their life. For many, it is an isolated incident. For others, testing and treatment may be needed.

I have these types of dreams very often. They are very scary and it always seems like something is coming for me. A sound, like something big starts coming from a distance and it gets closer and closer. Then you realize your having one of these dreams and you try to wake up but you can't. Often times I'll wake up just to be in another dream and it starts all over again. I'll often wake up into another dream 3 or 4 times before I truly wake up. It's so scary it makes you not wan't to sleep. If anyone can help me or has similar dreams please contact me: 777@cigarcitytimes.com
