  • Whoa! You poor thing. You need to really think whether this is the kind of guy you want in your life! Someone who is going to leave so easily, especially when you are pregnant, doesnt seem to be worth the trouble. Although on the other hand, you are carrying his his child. Tough one.... (I'm assuming its his child here, you didn't really specify)
  • It sounds like you did the right thing to me, now you have to work on the problems and put them right. If you are in the UK you could try talking to relate, they could help alot.
  • I support your view. The situation you're going through isn't meant to be taken lightly. He must decide now what he wants. You both must. Honestly, I don't know what would taking a break at this stage could possibly accomplish.
  • You did the right thing. First, because nothing ever gets fixed by ignoring it. Whatever problems you have with your bf will only be improved by communication. You'll both need to work on that. Second, unless I am misreading the situation, he wanted to take a break when you are carrying his baby? I-don't-think-so. Like it or not, it is time for your bf to step up to the plate, be supportive and act like an adult. He is in grown-up world now and it takes work. Sorry, he can take a break when his child has graduated from college. Till then, he is on duty 24/7/365 - as are you. Without more information there is no way to assess your situation. I will say that he sounds unimpressive. You are now carrying a little life inside you that has no one else to depend on and needs you to take care of him or her and make the best and most measured judgments you can. This can be the most rewarding experience of your life, but so much will depend on you and - hopefully - your bf. All I can say is, right now, I hope he is a better man than he sounds like. You and your baby deserve better.
  • Being apart you are not working on your relationship or advancing it but ignoring it. Has nothing to do with being pregnant. So I think you did the right thing.
