In 1932, Walt Disney's animated short, "Flowers and Trees" (one of his "Silly Symphonies"), became the first color cartoon and the first cartoon to win an Oscar. In 1937, Disney released "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," the first color feature-length cartoon. Disney's first live-action film, "Treasure Island," also in color, was released in 1950.
