I've never texted; I understand it, I'm not afraid of it, I'm just not interested. I have email to send text messages and my phone to talk with.

I've never texted. I don't even have a cell phone.

I have never texted and even had the ability to be able to receive text messages removed from my cellphone. Verizon was shocked .. but did it for me! I don't need to be receiving unsolicited text messages.

Have made it through over 62 years without a having a cell phone or texting. It upsets me when I see people talking on cell phones or texting while driving. That has become very common and I think it is dangerous.

I text all the time, but I'm gadget crazed, so when they came out with a phone that had a hard keyboard I got one. But my parents don't text. They only keep their cell phone for emergencies. I HAVE to text sometimes just to stay in touch with my daughter who does nothing BUT text! lol

Nope! I never have and DON'T understand "why" people do it when they can leave a "voice" message! I'm sure there's a "reason"; just DON'T know what it is!

I am a text virgin (luddite) but cells phones dominate my household.Four kids ;four cells or more with (s/o"s) and ours(Wife's) Seems on some cell plans,texting is cheaper or with no charge versus a phone call charge for a regular call,therefore the text is popular . Gave all the other self proclaimed luddites a +6.Not sure about Mensan but gave him one as well
