dont take sugar. do like the ocasional choc, dont use salt use black pepper instead. Couldnt live without protein. I think its an essential item. Lack causes kwashiokor and death.

Sugar, because I'm addicted. I mean physically, I really am addicted. When I tried to go off sugar for a cleanse, I experienced physical symptoms of withdrawal. It probably had to do with caffeine too, but I eat sugar on a daily basis, so. It might be harder on my body to give up protein, because you need protein to have the energy to go though your day. But I'd crave sugar more than a nice bloody steak, I think. I don't each much sodium, I don't think I'd have a problem going off it.

Definitely protein...namely protein you get from meat. I phsyically can't feel like a meal is complete without it.

i don't add any salt ever (except a slab or butter in tasteless potatoes). i eat chicken 1 x week and beef 1 x month. i like sugared drinks. i don't buy sugar or bake with sugar, but, it's probably my biggest addiction.

I don't think I would give up any of those as you need them to live. The body can't survive without them. But I would love to be able to do without gluten (mainly wheat) as I feel so much better not eating it. But I love bread!!!

Sodium. I get salt cravings and I have to have something salty asap. Not sure why I get these salt cravings but I do. I also would not want to give up a medium well cooked Steak! lol

Well.. realistically none... But I'll go with protein... since the body needs protein to be healthy and I do enjoy nuts and soy products.

Sodium. I find food without salt is intolerable. Sugar can be substituted with Aspartame or Splenda...but salt....no way.

I do not add salt to my food. I use other species. I use mostly Agave. Not sugar. Protein is the building block for our cells. I could not give up protein. I consume little sugar or salt. Sadly salt and sugar are added to all ready to eat things we buy. Even organic things have excess salt. +5 Spicy for your good question.

if you're just talking about cutting back, i mean meat is my favourite thing in the world... but meat without salt is like faith without deeds. i just wouldn't be happy. sugar is amazing, but i could cut it out without batting an eye. i've done it many times, in fact (atkins). if you actually mean giving them up, well you kinda need sodium and protein. i'm not sure if giving them up is a viable solution to anything except living. simple sugars you could give up easily without a problem.
