  • No, I rarely take off my wedding ring, although once I ate lobster and my fingers swelled up and I removed it before the swelling got too bad.
  • Yes, it is too tight for me. I need to resize it.
  • I never took it off. Then, a month and a half ago, I took it off for good.
  • No. I don't have one to take off. And I severely doubt if I ever will.
  • I have NEVER taken my ring off, but, how ever, I do wonder if my wife took hers off that night....
  • I don't wear my wedding band or any other rings. I feel too constricted with rings on my fingers. As far as what other people think, I just don't care. No one ever hits on me so it doesn't serve any viable purpose anyway.
  • I never take my ring off
  • i've taken off my engagement ring because the setting was loose but i've only taken off my wedding band once, for an mri, and it was torture to do it. (12 years)
  • I only take my ring off if I am breading or stuffing a food item; otherwise, it stays on.
  • For the first 10 years of my marriage I didn't take it off. I injured my finger and had to take it off due to swelling. That was 7 years ago. The injury caused a permanent enlargement of the knuckle, and now my ring doesn't fit. I have never had it resized. During that time my mother passed away. Her ring fits and I wear it from time to time.
  • I hardly ever wear it. I have a couple of fakes I wear but sometimes I forget to put them on. My real ring is platinum and is very soft. It gets easily scratched and dented so I don't wear it. It annoys my husband when I forget to put it on.
  • When I'm cooking, yes, getting food stuck under a ring is just gross. I take it, and my other rings off, and sit them on the counter (away from the sink) pretty much, once a day.
  • Only when I got divorced
  • When I was married I never took it off, even though it bothered the hell out of me. I don't where jewelery or watches. Irritates my skin.
  • We bought my ring second hand because I liked the dimpling in it. We got a goldsmith friend to make a matching engagement ring with a welsh pearl in it. He cut the wedding ring so that the pearl sits between the two rings. Pearls aren't awfully practical for house cleaning so if I take my engagement ring off I have to take off my wedding ring too otherwise the cuts in the wedding ring dig into my finger when I'm pointing at all the chores my teenagers haven't done properly. ;)
  • My wife and I both take off our wedding rings for specific reasons, like MRI/XRays, working on electrical things. But 99.9% of the time we wear them.
  • Yes. I wear it when I leave the house, but once I get home, the pockets get emptied and the rings come off.
  • I haven't taken mine off for almost 17 years.
  • How do you impersonate a wedding ring.
  • The day my decree absolute came through, I took it off. I miss it.
  • yes when as a good husband I clean the toilet..
  • I've been married for 22 years and have never ever worn it. It is an unnecessary accouterment as is the actual state of marriage - be together because you want to be not because it's the "done thing".
  • I didn't for many years, but now it stays off more often than on because my hands tend to swell. I know I am married and do not need a ring to remind me. ;-)
  • Sometimes. Most of the time I have my wedding ring on, but there are times when I take it off: if I'm working with food that is going to gunk it up, if I'm doing something where I'm afraid it will fall off. After I got pregnant it came off for a while because it wouldn't fit!! Then after it did fit again I sometimes took off my engagement ring for fear that it would scratch my baby. But now it pretty much stays on all the time :-)
  • I usually wear it all the time, but sometimes if I am in a boring meeting, I will remove it to play with on the table. Being made of platinum, it is very dense and heavy for its size. When I spin it on the table, it will sometimes spin for almost a full minute. The one time I regretted it, was when I spun it, and it hopped across the table and landed in the cream cheese on the CEO's bagel. THAT meeting stopped being boring fairly quickly.
  • I usually don't. However, sometimes I get a weird premonition before I get in the shower and I panic and take it off. Also, when I was pregnant with my last child my finger got larger at the end when I was retaining water and it was shredding my finger, so I wore it on a necklace. Otherwise, I live with it on all the time.
  • Rarely do I take it off. A few years ago, I had to get it resize and I felt like I was cheating. I was very glad to get it back on.
  • I never wear it. My heart is married, not my finger.
  • Cant.... OK Im just kidding... I leave it on all the time...
  • Yes but I remember that I'm married.
  • I never take my wedding ring off. Its presence on my hand improves the food I make.
  • I'm not married yet (52 days!!) but I have an emerald Claddagh ring that is both my engagement and wedding ring. Since it's a natural emerald, I have to take special care not to let it come in contact with too harsh solvents. When I'm bleaching the bathroom or something, I take it off, and usually hold it in my mouth until I'm finished. I also clean it several times a week, to keep the gunk from building up.
  • I wanted to take it off for security reason, because sometimes i go to a place where i know it isn't safe enough to wear jewelries. But my husband told me, not to. He said we will wear it forever =).
  • I never have! I have been wearing my wedding ring, for 17 great years.
  • I take off my wedding ring to shower and wash dishes.
  • Not usually, but i did have to remove it for a while when i was pregnant as my fingers swelled up! my hubby wasnt too happy but there was no other option. It hasnt been off apart from that, and to my knowledge my hubby has never ever taken his off.
  • Not often. I occasionally give massages to clients, so I'll take it off for that. When I worked as a dancer I took it off while I was at work. I would never lie about my husband (or boyfirend when we were dating) but I saw no value in advertising in that enviroment. It would only hurt my income.
  • yes i hardly ever where my rings. i just got a beautiful platinum diamond ring and wore it on my right hand for three days andit has been terribly damaged...the band has dents and all. why has this happened? i did not do any housework during that three days as i was away at a wedding. only thing i can think of was that it was down sized...has this made the band weaker??
  • I took it off along time ago.
  • No I never prefer to take off weeding ring it’s very dear to me B2C Jewels
  • My mother in law's husband was in on a conversation regarding wedding rings. He said "I don't wear a wedding ring, it cuts off my circulation". I said to him, "yes, I feel the same way, I don't like anything hindering my freedom of movement on my fingers". He said again "It cuts off my circulation". Reading between the lines was his joke that his wedding band would keep him from circulating among other women.
  • I take mine off at night and for repairs. I have once or twice forgotten to put it on in the morning and have felt naked all day.
  • If it's got the diamond in it, I always wear it. But when it falls out which happened about 5 months ago, I took it off and we're trying to save money to fix it:-(
  • yes when i shower, only because i don't like the feeling of my rings on my fingers when they are wet. also sometimes at night when it is too hot and i feel like it is restricting the flow of blood.
  • Yeah, when I got divoced. Sucked....had a tan line for about six months:(
