I'm not sure it's normal, but I do it. I like the smoothness. :]
-
I don't know about weird, but I would not do it. I had a friend who did that, and her arms grew back like a man's beard. It was really strange looking.
-
Swimmers shave their body hair. Does she swim? Good enough then.
-
It depends on how hairy they are. Though I think it might grow back thicker, so electrolysis might be a better bet.
-
no its very normal and thats why you shave it everytime it looks like its comin back and id rather have shaved arms because when it shaved it nice and smooth , but some people dont have so much hair on there arm so they just dont shave it..
-
It is so normal. I shave my arms coz its less painful than waxing. and i am allergic to waxing anyway. Plus cant stand those hair removing ceams. and my hair doesnt grow back rough. i know thats a muchness of info and far more than u would have wanted, but....
-
I don't, but my arm hair is so very fine and blonde that I don't see the point. I don't know anyone who shaves thier arms, personally, but I don't think it's particularly weird.
-
I shaved my arms once as the hair was very dark and I was embarrassed because I thought it looked manly. Since then I have discovered body and facial hair bleaching. I did it once about 6 months ago and it was great. Also, I expected I'd have to do it often but I haven't done it since and the arms on my hair are still blonde and less noticable

I say its weird
-
I say its normal, I love shaving my arms, it feels and looks so clean!!!
-
Normal, and good and almost necessary for some girls, if they want to look better. I had this gorgeous co-worker, tall, nice looking, green eyes....but those hairy arms....she should shave!
-
Normal for girls to shave their armpits I don't know about their arms.
-
I shave everywhere my armpits, my arms, my legs. Cause it makes me feel clean and smooth.

Today, anything goes. My wife and i raised our granddaughter. when she turned 13, the stock for shaving cream and razors, hit a new high mark on the stock market. she bought the store out. She shaves everything. the only hair on this childs body, is on her head and she washes it twice a day. I know that cleanliness is next to Godliness, but this is ridiculous.
-
weird, but who hasnt tried it.
-
i would say its neither normal nor abnormal... it just depends on the person. i did for a while but got tired of it... and thankfully it didn't look bad when it grew back.
-
I confess I get mine waxed. After I hit puberty the hair changed it got darker and longer and that's just not sexy on a woman. So.... hair free! actually it makes the skin really silky feeling.
-
It is strange but it's for the best. Armpits are a must and arms are a plus. Try saying that a couple times fast
-
I say its normal. I have dark hair so thats why I started shaving my arms and I didn't like my hairy arms. I love having smooth silky skin so thats why I still do it now.
-
I started shaving my arms in highschool and its been 6 years. I loved it when It's freshly shaved but the min I get goosebumps!!! OMG I hate it. I love the way my silky smooth arms feel up until that point. And the worst part is someone always wants to touch you at that moment... when A new hair is pokin thru standing str8 up! Soo shaving ur arms has its advantages and disadvantages.

-
My arm hairs get annoying aswell, and i considered shaving, i dont think its weird but i think it would be a pain to shave all the time, so i got my arm hairs bleached so now their blonde, and you can barely see them.

The question is not whether it is weird or normal but why do it in the first place. There are so many products and commercials that refer to body hair as "embarrassing" or "disgusting" that they have brainwashed otherwise normal and confident women and, more importantly, young girls into thinking that hair on their forearms is a bad and horrible thing. Quite the contrary, body hair is completely normal. It is a natural, God-given aspect of their bodies and it is nothing to be ashamed of. The real problem is the perceptions of other ignorant people that make fun of and tease these normal people and give them low self esteem. The ads for arm hair removal are also guilty of this. The only reason they exist is to sell their product, and to make normal, well-adjusted people feel insecure so they will buy more of their product. The sexiest woman in the world, in my opinion, is the woman that says to the world and the little insecure people that make fun of them-"Here I am. Like me the way I am or get the hell out of my way because I don't need you in my life". Besides, when a woman waxes her arms, men notice. Notice I said men, not boys. It tells them that here is a woman that is insecure about something as insignificant as arm hair. It makes us wonder what else she is insecure about and what baggage that brings along with it. When a woman waxes her arms it is very noticeable. The natural hair at the top of the arm stops and suddenly there is this unnatural hairless skin on the forearm. It looks ridiculous. If you think that hair on the forearms is a turnoff to men(not insecure boys), then just do a simple web search for women with hairy arms and you will find that there dozens of websites dedicated to the love of arm hair. Then try it with women who wax their arms and you will find very few websites dedicated to that. Men like women who are confident. Men like women who are comfortable in their own skin. The love of your life may be out there and he doesn't care about your arm hair. Waxing it may turn him away and you will have to settle for an insecure, demeaning boy who thinks arm hair is disgusting. Live your life for yourself, not for others.
