  • Things that annoy or upset you personally are not necessarily against the law in any given place. A person whose arms are crossed while speaking to a police officer is a sign that the person does not like to or want to speak to an officer or that they know something pertinent to the conversation that they are unwilling to tell. Experienced police officers will recognize this common body language.
