Deer. skunks, and possums in about that order. Deer are just too excitable and freeze when startled, skunks think they don't have to be afraid of anything and possums.......I don't think pretending to be dead it a viable way to survive a truck coming at you at 65 miles per hour.

Since I live just outside the city, I would say raccoons and foxes. I've ran over some. That was because they got in my way. I was going about 50 mph during those incidents, so I couldn't avoid hitting them, because it is dangerous. You can lose control of a vehicle by either yielding or slamming the brakes. I drive a Land Rover. The good thing about it, the impact isn't too rough with an SUV.
