Ooops sorry, I'm guilty of that. Maybe I should call him my old man? LOL My hunk of burnin love calls me his ole lady? THAT gets on my nerves.
-
eff yeah ...and wifey
-
No, it doesn't bother me at all.
-
No, nor do I hate it when men refer to their wife's as "my ole lady".
-
I do hate it, actually. My newly married, funky friend said that once while speaking to her on the phone. She goes.. "my hubby is travelling, so we're packing his bag!" I was taken aback. Hubby sounds.... Archaic to me somewhat. I don't know..Just sounds, funny!
-
Yea...annoys me a bit.
-
That IS one of my pet peeves! I just thought to google "I hate it when people use the word 'hubby' " just to see if it gets on others' nerves as much as it does mine and I was delighted to find that it bugs other people too! It gives me the creeps, don't know why.
-
urgh yes! It sounds like a part to a cooker. pffft.
-
YES It sounds lame and annoying, especially since the person who uses it tends to say it over and over. "My 'hubby' this, my 'hubby' that" yech!
