Because men are genetically programmed to spread their genes as far and wide as possible, and therefore desire as many sexual partners as possible. Personally, as a married man, I look at other women because my wife isn't interested in having sex with me any more, not because I don't find her attractive. And before anyone gets the wrong idea, I do the majority of the housework and childcare, and I've gone out of my way to make her feel valued, all to no avail.

Most women can appreciate beauty in any form, men are no different in that respect :)

Because men have two heads and the one below the waist "rules". I just think "your man" deserves a little taste of his own medicine. Make it a point to really look at other guys to the point of "not hearing" what your guy just said to you. Now of course this isn't going to work if you do it just once, but repeatedly. Walk into doors, while looking at a guy in your mans presence. And keep it up until something is said. Men basically don't have enough respect to keep their eyes to their selves while their woman is around. It's rude behavior. But it is controllable. They just need a little bit of their own medicine. So, give them some til it hurts. Then play innocent just like guys do. And say, I don't know what your talking about. And then keep it up.

There is an instinctual thing that will make him look but, if he really cares, it will just me a brief look and then he will come back to looking at you. If he doesn't, he's just not that into you. Actually, he will probably look at everyone passing by because the instinctual thing also covers self preservation and that means being aware of what's going on around you.

yes because some men know that they were created for more than just one woman. so looking at the other women is just a natural man's thing. Some men expect their spouse to think it is a complimentary act. That looking is supposed make the spouse feel good about herself because she is the chosen one. Women are usually dressed in international orange. You can see a woman a mile away. They dont blend with the scenery. Some men wear blinders. They cower to the spouse's demands. I was born to appreciate beauty. I will not avoid looking at someone or something or some critter, because the spouse gets jealous. Or feels sad. Or gets angry. I am not talking about bedroom eyes, or undressing a woman with your eyes. That is rude and crude. When we start looking at men, then you should be worried. Looking at women doesnt mean anything, except one's attention got hooked by some kind of shape or color. Some men just dont look. They arent intersted. They are happily married. They probably have the current Penthouse Magazine at work. . Besides, a guy just thinks he has to do it to maintain his manliness. To not be attracted to the opposite sex is not manly. . I think it's mostly accurate that men will look at other women no matter how hot you are. I think it's instinctual. Looking shouldn't be an issue but it should be fairly discreet and quick. Gawking is disrespectful to the person you're with. I'd like to point out though that if you are an abusive partner, physical or otherwise, your partner may be looking at others wondering what they're like and what a life with them might be like and how hot you are isn't even relevant.

usually men look while they are trying to look attractive themselves. Young men look to check if the girl is also looking their way.. to see if she has taken notice of them. If not men will probably try to make eye contact to get some kind of signal. Older men however would also gaze but would not boldly try to engage eye contact unless they know for sure that the girls or women are flirtatious and are those who give the all signs of "come get me into bed type" Otherwise the older men will just gaze for entertainment of the moment -sight seeing pastime and maybe abit of passing comments and gossips among themselves or within their own private minds.

Personally, I will at least glance at everyone who comes into view, whether they are women or men, children or great-grandparents. If there is something particular which catches my eye I will look longer - and let's face it, most women do dress up intentionally to catch people's eye. If a woman is well-endowed up top, and wears clothes that push out as much of her cleavage as possible short of exposing her nipples, it's hard not to notice. That's a bit like, say, seeing conjoined twins unexpectedly and trying to pretend that you really can't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Yep and I swear it's just like any hearding animal out there. If you look at say Deer, a Buck will go around and gather as many does into his herd as he can, and protect it. I swear it's like an instinct thing that we have tried to smother out. I am not saying men should go and herd women so hang on and hear me out. Obviously, you've never actually talked to a guy about this. The answer is simple... WE'RE GUYS! Of course we're going to look, but the point is that he still loves you. I mean, you must look at other guys, right? Unless your completely dead with no hormones or attraction to anyone else, girls look, too. It may not be as obvious, but ladies do it, and I find it a little insulting that the question is posed as if men are the bad guys here. We all look, and it's what makes us human.
