• I heard about an Anaheim Angel pitcher that was removed last night after only 2 throws.
  • I think last night took the record after that pitcher was out after 2 pitches.
  • The Angels pitcher being referred to is John Lackey, who was making his first start of the season after returning from the DL after suffering an Elbow injury during the last week of 2009 spring training. He threw only 2 pitches because he was ejected, because the first pitch flew behind Texas' leadoff man Ian Kinsler's head (resulting in a warning from the umpire) and the very next pitch he plunked Kinsler in the side and was tossed from the game.
