• To whom are you loaning the money? A friend/family member in distress? What rate of interest are you charging and what are you paying? If you are charging more than you are paying that is smart. Happy Sunday! :)
  • Irresponsible as hell, I would be completely offended if you owed me money, then lent somone else money.
  • Sounds like the situation that most Americans are in. Nothing wrong with your action, unless it gets out of hand.
  • Depends on how much money we're talking about and what the term is. I owe money on my mortgage bond but will still lend small amounts on a (very) short-term basis to people in need. But I suppose it wouldn't make sense to lend as much as you owe over the same period.
  • I wouldn't say it's insane, but it is likely fiscally irresponsible to do so. People do it all the time all year long. Any US taxpayer who gets a tax refund when filing their return has given the govt a 0% interest loan, and many who get refunds are in debt to someone somewhere.
  • I HAVE lent money while I owed money ; so it is not for me to critize you or anyone else .... However; it does seem a little IRRESPONSIBLE to do ; BUT at the same time it shows a compassionate and caring nature towards others ...
  • depending on the maturity dates you could be an idiot or quite brilliant!
  • I'd think you are a politician who will not be around when the shit hits the fan.
