ewwee yucky - but I am sure it happens all the time or people who change their minds at the register and then that food sits there until someone just puts it back. Always look at your food.

No, but I've seen soured products left out on a shelf but undeserving customers. :(

Yes. My buds and I would go to the freezer and squirt cans of whip cream in our mouths and put the tops back on.

If it happens this often, then my body must be used to it now. I've not knowingly gotten sick from such practices but who knows? And I do even worse things with me food at home, like eating Memorial Day leftovers on the Fourth of July.

Oh my gosh! I never thought about that! I've gotten quite a few items at Walmart lately & brought them home only to find out they were not any good even though the expiration was still good. Maybe that happens a lot.

I don't doubt it MRSHINYSHOES and I'm sure stuff like this happens all the time. I always wonder what happens to all that meat they can't sell in the short shelf life it has?

I'm sure it happens often in the local supermarket.

When I was a teenager and worked at a grocery store sometimes people would leave things like that out, but the manager made it clear that they weren't to be put back in the freezer. That's scary that you saw that, I hope it doesn't happen often.
