I like finding a nice grassy area, usually on a small hill, and just letting the wind blow "through" me. I just sit there and focus on the wind and the ambient nature sounds.

Honestly, I find exercise ... brisk walks ... are so therapeutic for me. Not only good for you physically, but mentally helps clear your head. It's my "drug" of choice.

Meditation, exercise or good old fashioned bitching; whichever my mood calls for.

Gardening is the best. Quiet time reading is a favorite of mine also.

In a crunch I take a hot bath to sooth my soul and ease any aches & pains I may have - but sometimes I just need to retreat to visit my favorite aunt. She is the healing balm for my wounded spirit when I just need to be taken care of...I go to her.

I would say it definitely has to be spiritual . Happened to stumble upon the teachings of one particular religion , wouldn't wish to say which one ,,, but definitely continuous research on it has helped me immensely . Well then there are a few friends of mine...,, whom I have to meet and interact with , on a regular basis :)

Thinking logically and not getting caught up in the voodoo world of emotion. The brain heals by thinking positively/optimistically/hopefully. Without having your brain on your side you are doomed. :)

Well, getting a nice warm oil massage after getting out of the hot tub seems to work fairly well for me ....
