A so-called furry here. "Yiff" is slang for sex, most commonly used in the furry community. "Scritch" is another (cute) term for "scratch", as is "scritching a dog behind the ears". Yiff/fur/scritch piles are all misunderstood terms. Usually it's just like a massive dog pile (no pun intended!) where everyone flops down on each other in exhaustion or in play. The infamous "Fur and Loathing" episode of CSI made this term into a sexual one, though it is incorrect. The media likes to portray the furry fandom as a fetish, though this is untrue. REMEMBER: in the media, SEX SELLS. So of course the media is going to run it as a fetish! There is a very tiny percentage of the furry community who are part of it as a fetish (between 5-15%), but the majority (as in 85% or more) are part of the furry community for fun.
