Were your cooking utensils rinsed throughly. Mr Bill

Obviously because you are a terrible cook im sorry to say this but you should stick to cooking the basics like cereal
-
How fresh were the ingredients my friend? Anything too old might have gotten rancid or been well beyond a reasonable "use by" date. If all the ingredients were newly purchased, examine each one. Maybe you got something out-of-date or a "lemon". You become a sleuth and find out why. If your biscuists were made with flour, butter, sugar, ginger, eggs, some leavening there is no reason why they shouldn't have come out tasting delicious! :) Happy Thursday! :) ((hugs))

Too much ginger!

You mean ginger biscuits aren't SUPPOSED to taste like soap?!? Maybe THAT'S why I didn't win the Pillsbury Bake Off competition this year! :-)
-
Maybe someone sabotaged you and added soap when you weren't looking.
-
Hey! Try showering with it, maybe that's how they discovered soap. Maybe some old english lady was sitting in her kitchen making ginger cookies..err..biscuits, and suddenly, they started foaming and after she ate them she felt really clean! :O Can I have one? :)
-
Because if you used candied ginger instead of fresh... Candied always tastes like soap. *I have no idea why??? Grate some of the real thing or use powdered.
-
You didnt get any aniseed into the mix did you?
-
Did you use any allspice? Allspice is used in soaps and deodorants (it's the "spice" in Old Spice).
-
Could you list the ingredients for us?
