Why do you have to wait for HIM to make a move? You can do it as easily as he can, maybe he's waiting on YOU. It'd suck if you both took too long and someone else started dating him :) +3

The best way to get someone else to do what you want them to do is to convince them that it is their idea in the first place. Make him think he likes you and then ask him out. Some shy people, are shy, because they don't like to take the initiative and therefore like others who take charge. Other types of shyness is due to the fact that some people are simply non intrusive by nature and dont appreciate others who are either. So you have to be careful.
