hey don't worry. Cheer up and life will be all better. You won't have chest pains, tightness of chest and won't have to do any tests. So the key is to be HAPPY. What ever makes you happy. AB is here to help.

Do the deep breathing thing consistently. It sounds like anxiety, particularly since nothing is showing up on tests. Have you undergone some big changes or had some problems or losses lately (no need to answer here)? You may want to talk with some sort of counsellor

There are so many things that could be done but for me it took 6 months to finally get an answer which was embarrasing. It was indigestion (gastritis). No joke. I was a pepsi-a-holic for 10+ years and my stomach was wrecked. So when I tried to stop drinking pepsi and eat healthy, I would get massive pains that felt like a heart attack. Tests showed nothing. A nurse was the one who figured it out, thank God. It took a month of eating right and exercising for me to finally have no side effects (chest pain, shortness of breath, racing or slow beating heart, numb arm/hand, sleepiness, hot spells, dizziness, etc) Your diet can alter everything inside you. No joke.

Sounds like you have anxiety feuled depression. Anxiety is nothing more than uncertainty and apprehension. These worries can make you depressed because you feel a sense of hopelessness brought on my a feeling of impending doom. Anxiety can give you mental health symtoms that make you look on the negative side of things. The chest pains are common if you have 'Generalised Anxiety.' As well as the depression 'Generalised Anxiety' can cause a range of symtoms. One worry in the anxiety is a heath worry. In anxiety you feel like you might lose control or have an invisible line to cross. This extends to health and fear of death ie ''im going to faint'' or ''im going to have a heart attack'' can bring on very physical symtoms. It is your body's ''flight or fight'' mechanism overreacting. These symptoms pose no danger though. Try the site www.nomorepanic.co.uk . It greatly helps to understand you condition and speak to people in the same boat. Almost everyone with it eventually makes a full recovary in time.
