  • I really don't care either way.
  • My husband would hang out with this guy named Tony. Everytime he was with him all he would do is make horrible references to gay men like "rump wranglers" "fudge packers" "baloney smokers". I began to wonder why this guy was so vocal against homosexual men. My husband didn't appreciate hearing all this kind of nasty talk. Hubby stopped associating with him because of this and other reasons and basically he has dropped out of our social circle. I have no idea of what he is up to but it is so nice not to be involved with this mean spirited man.
  • I have often thought the same thing myself - it's almost like these people feel threatened and scared by homosexuality and why would that be unless they had doubts about their own hetrosexuality.
  • Most of the criticism of homosexualism I hear is because it is a serious public health issue--it cuts one to three decades off of life expectancy because of diseases, violence, and increased use of alcohol and drugs--and because it tends toward the breaking down of society because it loosens, breaks, or never forms the natural bonds between men, women, and the next generation. And many gays seem to want to recruit as many others as possible, spreading these social problems more widely.
  • Who is Ted Haggard?
  • Not really. I think sometimes "macho" men are very vocal in their disapproval because they worry that being seen in any way to be OK with it will leave them open to accusations of being gay, but I think if someone was homosexual and "in the closet" (where is this closet?) they would be more likely to try and avoid any reference to the topic at all.
  • I think that many of them are. They are firm believers that the Bible forbids and condemns homosexuality, so their rants are mostly outward projection of their inner confusion and self-hatred.
  • And guess what? Ted Haggard was a closeted gay :P
  • Alot of them are. I want to believe that instead of thinking that there are that many hateful people in the world
