  • Linguistic niceties aside .... (and chillier is a word meaning more chilly)... If you're out with a girl and she says it's getting chillier, it's quite possible she doesn't want to feel cold and she's inviting you to provide the warmth the cooler air - she might be asking for an arm around her shoulders
