Not if they are innocent texts.

I suppose it depends who it is and what is said. I don't believe that it is cheating, but it is likely to cause jealousy if both sides are not open to each other immediately that it has happened.

NO! Why should it be considered cheating if they are just friends. Unless you have reason to belive they are it could be. But that is the problem with people now a days always assuming. Why dont you just ask, if you cant ask your partner something like that you have bigger issuses then thinking they are cheating on you.

The texting isn't cheating. But you know if you're cheating or not. If the relationship has gotten to the point of questioning each other over texting, one of you has cheated and you know it. It's either guilt causing the acusations or reality that the person really is cheating. Or maybe just a nut case that needs to get a grip on there insecurities.

It depends on the content. http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-rlemotional&msg=1706.1&ctx=1024 is a more detailed and lengthier answer by me.

If your text is something that the spouse g/f , b/f etc would find inappropriate or that the receiver feels they have to hide from their S/O then yes...it's cheating....ANYTHING you feel a need to hide from the person you are involved with or married to is most likely something you should not be doing in the first place and are ashamed of....if you were not ashamed you would want to share it with others not hide it like it is something dirty
