i think maybe you should respect you mother's concern about you having sex at such a young age, with someone so much older than you. you clearly do not see eye-to-eye on this relationship but believe it or not, your mother knows best for you. would you want your young daughter having sex with someone who should probably be in college. I don't know the official rules about sending people to jail, or bringing them to court. but what he is doing is called statuatory rape. meaning regardless of whether you give consent or not, he is stil having sex with someone underage, and because you are underage, you cannot legally give consent. good luck.

If the age of consent where you live is above 16, then she can get him arrested. Whether he can be prosecuted is another thing, mostly that depends on the testimony of the underage person, i.e. you. Without solid evidence, as in you're pregnant or there's a videotape or another witness, then it comes down to what the two of you say.

first off, she's not too young to be having sex...it's a natural age to be doing so, most start at 13 or 14. Her mother sounds like a tyrannical bitch who has no respect for her daughter and doesn't see her as an equal human being. Kids will do what they do when they're in love, can't stop it. And no she can't, she needs evidence. So, my advice, would be to get rid of any that may exist, down to the last text, note or myspace message. And i've seen a 19 year old go to jail over statutory rape. It wasn't that bad. He wasn't there for very long and they were easy on him because they're used to dealing with REAL rapists. The 50 year old ones who actually FORCE the sex on little 9 year old girls.

First off you need to resct your mom, she is try to protect you, what does a 19 year want with a 16, and yes that rape and she can have arrested for it. Most wont stay in prison long, but depending on what race he is and what race you are will determine how far that goes. Trust when you get older and have kids yourslef you will see that mother only have the best interest with you.

Look up the age of consent in your area. Where I am it's 16. If you're of the age of consent she can't get him arrested because you're legally allowed to consent. And I don't what everybody's problem is with 16 and 19. It's only a difference of 3 years, more or less (depending on birthdays).

i dont think so. if not, get ready for her to look around for your porn video because shes probably gonna want proof! or.. sit down and talk to her and tell her how much you like him, and its not just for sex. :)good luck!!!!

first of all, your mom isnt stupid. your bf broke the law, and could possibly be stupid. You just aired proof that you did have sex with him. Why would you betray your mother by denying the truth. Dont you have any integrity at all? You are very immature for 16. Learn where your loyalties lie.
-
let's see, your "stupid" mom is concerned about you, your life and your future. While this boyfriend of yours is only concerned about sex. Its against the law for him to even date you! He is what's known as a child molestor according to the law. Shut up, grow up and be thankful that you have a mother who cares this much about you and think back to this when you have a teenage daughter pulling the exact same shit as you are now.
-
The "stupid" aspect to your predicament is a not having your mother on your side!! Think about it!! ;-)
-
the way you address your mom says a lot about you. too bad you have a mom that cares about you.

Contrary to what others have answered I believe that you mom is stupid for even considering a rape charge. Yes, if she can proove that you've had sex with him she might be able to send him to jail. But that really would be stupid because it would end any chance she has for having a decent relationship with you, her daughter. Try to speak to her and NOT call her "stupid" or any other button pushing names or words. Even though she may be stupid, she is looking out for your well being. Emotions have driven her to a wall.

She can get him arrested if you had sex. Be prepared.

I am not American ... but here, Australia, I think that w/o your cooperation, she really has no case. You generally have to have some witness or evidence to any public claim you make against another person for the courts to even consider these matters. :) But if you do engage the young fella, you'll have to ensure all your underwear and close clothing is protected from 'the aftermath" of your work together you might say, by washing yourself very well Immediately. Most places, the age of consent is 16 anyway. But you will need to check that out locally. Having said all of the above, you know, the happiest way to go in life is to hold off intimate relations unti lyou are married. If you really love one another enough for intimacy, you should be contemplating marriage.
