Yes, I always play games and then refund it for money. I actually always buy games and return them 1 week later because I can't beat them! That's my big problem.

Sure. Alot of times I don't know if something works or if I like it if I don't TRY it out. For example: Computer monitor MANY electronic gadgets that didn't work or were junk and way over priced. Kitchen appliances (small) that did not work or work as advertised. CD/DVD's that were defective And on and on.

Yep. Candy bars, tissues, food, drinks, pets, bathtubs,... Edit: There was this one incident with socks, too.

My mother said someone was at Costco returning 20 percent of a sheet cake, they said they didn't like the way it tasted. Then why did over 80 percent of it not come back? There are a lot of frauds out there, that is why everything costs so much money- theft and frivolous returns that render the merchandise unsalable.

Return? yes. Refund? No. Instead I go for a like item if it's not working properly.

if i got the wrong size/item/type, most definitely ... if i want the same thing, but the one i have is defective, i exchange it ... if THAT one is busted too, then i call it quits and get something entirely different

Yes, if I have to. I don't like doing it though.

I have done that when it's been mail order and not the right size or in person when something broke right after buying it.
