Does Norton's anti virus slow down your computer? Recently dropped Spyware and my computer has been slower. Your thoughts p/c gurus.

What a great fix up computer program for Windows? My p/c is freezing up with Norton. Any suggestions again. Sorry, ask this once.

You're reading I've recently had a virus/spyware on my laptop. I ran spybot, Ad-aware and AVG and they seemed to find and fix certain things... I can now use certain sites, eg. facebook, but I can't open my emails on hotmail. I click on Inbox and nothing happens. Help!

Thanks for the answer, but I am already using Firefox. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still having the same problems.

Try a different browser, like Google's Chrome or IE. If that works, there's something wrong with Firefox. Clearing out the registry of all Firefox related stuff before a re-install may help. If Chrome doesn't work either, it's a Windows issue.

Thanks! I tried Chrome and it accessed hotmail with no problems so obviously something's wrong with Firefox. I'll try clearing out the registry and re-installing, as you suggest. Thanks again, this has really helped me out :)

I have had similar Problems with Firefox Portable, clear all Private Data and erase history and forms etc then reboot the system if it doesn't work you might want to completely erase fire fox and clean the registry then try an complete clean reinstall ..
