Yeah, although that usually doesn't do much to dictate whether I'll answer it or not.

I may be reading your question wrong. are you asking "do we look at the askers name before answering". correct? Most of the time. yes. I am much more likely to answer a question by someone who I have had interaction with or are "friends" before I answer one by an anonymous or a new person.

Of course... there are questions(and people to post them) that are same in all aspects except to which they denote. See page numbers around 4100 in the unanswered questions list.... Similar questions dumb my friends Q&A list and I'm missing other worthy questions.
