When people say they can tell if its goin to rain because their knee or toe or whatever hurts, Does that really work?

I doubt it. It just isn't possible to funtion like that. or is it? My grandma said that her leg was hurting the way she knew it would would rain, but it snowed...so is that something?!

Some older people have many different types of joint pain due to accidents and illnesses and just old bones. weather can cause pains to the joints. basically cold or damp weather choosing the time of year it is not so hard to predict when bad weather is close. Yes it does work like that a lot of the time but it is not 100% all the time. You be surprised at signs that people learn through their lives that predict a lot of things. like an old man told me once that the best time to fish is when you see cattle grazing and the worst time is when they are just standing or laying around. I have used this saying myself and it has proven itself correct every single time.

I have an inoperable bullet embedded into bone that gives me a constant dull pain. I'm used to that pain and have learned to ignore it. When it hurts to the point it attracts my attention I can pretty much guarantee you a high pressure system is moving in with rain or snow.

It is caused by low barometric pressure and/ or sudden changes in barometric pressure. Literally,we'feel" the shift in air pressure around us. It affects people withjoint pain, injuries and migraine sufferes. It is real and scientifically proven.
