Help answer this question below.

1999 Honda Accord heat blows HOT always regardless of where I set the heat control knob. Also can not control where heat comes from...its always on defrost. Fan works fine, AC works, but have no control of heat mix or where it blows from. Thoughts?

The temperature and airflow control is faulty. If it's all electronic (there used to be cables in the old days) you will probably need to take it to an agent.

well i have a 1996 Honda Accord one nite my boyfriend turned the knob too hard (thermosat knob) and it broke. He had to order a new part cuz something in the whole thing was broken.. I don't know if the inside of yo honda is the same as mine but u may need to go to a Honda dealership to see whats the matter.. thats what we did.

possibly a vacuum hose leak or off which controls the positioning of the diverting doors or flaps
