I don't know a lot about him but overall I find him to be a peaceful man who is always smiling and I have a great deal of respect for him.

Basically all I know of him came via Richard Gere and the publicity surrounding his support. He seems like a cool kinda guy, with the "right" stuff! :)

i love his holiness the dalai lama. i have great respect for his wisdom, compassion and his service to mankind. i had just answered a friends question five minutes ago about the most enlightening books ive read. i answered that the path to tranquility is in my top 5. then i came upon your question happily by "accident". what a great synchronicity!
