Do you need to have a motor cycle license to drive a motorcycle? If so, do you have to have your Drivers license first to get a motor cycle license, or just your permit?

In all states, you'll need a license to ride a motorcycle. In Texas, the only state I have experience in, I don't believe it's a necessary prerequisite to own a driver's license first.

you use to be able to just get a motorcycle lic, but not anymore. most, if not all states now require you to have a reg drivers lic before you can get a motorcycle endorsment.
