  • I really yell and raise my voice when I'm angry - not a good trait/habit. :(
  • Appropriate: I drop less than subtle verbal hints. I've now learned that doesn't work...so I'm more direct. Inappropriate: I keep it bottled up inside too much until I want to scream...but I usually don't even do that.
  • I usually keep it in and unleash it in different ways not noticeable to much of anyone, and if I do let it be known, usually through guilt trips; either way it's all inappropriate lol.
  • Because of my very limited emotional range I respond very disproportionately to things. Asperger's Syndrome and clinical depression just suck. I explode verbally. I used to be physically destructive to myself or inanimate objects around me but I got tired of pain and scarring as well as repairs or replacements. My wife tells me that no matter how bad I think I am her dad was far worse so she just lets me explode and get over it. I've gotten SO MUCH BETTER because of her patience with me.
  • Honestly, I started out fighting, bieng destructive,drinking, I've even tried to hurt myself a time or two. I progressed to not fighting wich made me have anxiety attacks, excersising, prayer, and meditation. Believe it or not this is just the general summary of the different innapropriate ways I've handled my anger. But I'm slowly getting better at it!
  • Fortunately, in general, any feelings of anger are short-lived. However, a couple of months ago I wrote a check for $3.95 and the bank charged my account for$395.00..I went there to straighten it out..their inability to accomplish the most basic of accounting procedures made me livid..I am a retired accountant...I know proper accounting procedure..it was like talking to a brick wall. The bank is Bank of America. I am appalled at the machinations they went through to "correct" the error..they corrected incorrectly, in terms of proper accounting procedure. I expect professionals to handle things properly. I get very upset when they don't! :) I had a minor hissy fit! :)

  • I've hit people with frying pans when I'm pissed. Wonder what that says about me.
  • I tend to punch walls, but it's a good habit because I have a reason to hang pictures up.
  • When I am angry, more than ever, I stay in control. I find no solutions to my problems if I give up to anger.
  • I have been know to cut/burn <--- thats my unhealthy way healthy ways- writing, talking to my net friends, being alone

  • Appropriately. I am angry when occasion calls for it, but I don't over-react when I am. I can talk about it rather than ranting, hitting anything, etc. If I am frustrated to the point of it driving me nuts, I meditate. If that doesn't cut it, as it usually will, I have a pillow to scream into. That and a rule in our house about one scream a day being allowed. lol
