Sauerkraut, sweetkraut, or sauteed onions on your hot dog?

Sauerkraut usually. Not sure what sweetkraut is, but it sounds tasty. I'll have to give it a try!

I've never had sweetkraut, but I do love sauerkraut on hot dogs, bratwurst and polish dogs....and a few onions are good, too!

Eww. I've only had sauerkraut once and don't think I'd ever want to try it again. I've never heard of sweetkraut though. Sauteed onions sounds good if the hot dog is more of a fat sausage with lots of flavor. At home, I just buy the cheap hot dogs, throw them in a bun and microwave them with a slice of American cheese over the top. Then add mustard and ketchup. :)

Doesn't saurkraut become sweetkraut when you add sweet pickle relish? I bet the first one to sell sweetkraut in super markets will make millions!
