You are being selfish. At least you have a car that you didn't have to pay for yourself.
Didn't get top of the range? Gutted.
My parents bought me a new car as well, however every time we have a disagreement they take the keys away from me. I was grateful, but now I am beginning to think it was just bought as a tool to control my behavior and though patterns. It is best just to get a job and pay for the car yourself. No one can take away the rewards and benefits of hard work, not even your parents.
Just be thankful. My first car wasn't very appealing to me at first but it grew on me, same with my second car.
Be happy you got a new car.
